Volker Woltersdorff


Volker Woltersdorff (Freie Universität of Berlin, Germany) - Dr Volker Woltersdorff, born in 1971, studied German, French and Italian Literature in Munich, Pisa, and Paris. Since 1999 he has been research fellow at the Institute for Comparative Literature at the Freie Universität of Berlin. He is member of the interdisciplinary research group "Culture and Performativity" where he is currently working on a research project on sadomasochistic subcultures. In 2004 he earned his PhD with a study on gay male coming out narratives (published by Campus in 2005). He has published many writings in gender and queer studies.
