Monika Rogowska-Stangret is a graduate of philosophy (University of Warsaw) and a postgraduate program of Laboratorium Psychoedukacji [Psychoeducation laboratory] and University of Social Sciences and Humanities; a PhD candidate at the Graduate School for Social Research at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She has been working on a PhD thesis with the working title: ”Ciało - poza Innościa i Tożsamością. Trzy figury ciała w filozofii współczesnej” [Body - beyond difference and identity. Three figures of the body in contemporary philosophy], supervised by Prof. Magdalena Środa. She has been a grant holder of the Kosciuszko Foundation (research project at the Rutgers University in New Jersey) and the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. She has published articles in, among others, Ha!art, Sztuka i Filozofia, Recykling Idei, LiteRacje. She co-works with the Przegląd Filozoficzno-Literacki magazine (co-edited an issue titled ”Ciało” [Body]).
