Robert Kulpa - Ph.D. scholar at University College London, where he is working on the lesbian and gay movement in the context of the post-communist social transformation in Poland. He previously studied film at Jagiellonian University, Krakow, and cultural anthropology at Warsaw University. His articles were published in many journals, including Konteksty and Kwartalnik Filmowy published by the Polish Academy of Science. He is also co-editor of Panoptikum, a journal o film, media, and the arts. Academic interests: civil society and social movements, minority cultures, discourses of everyday life. Theoretical framework: postmodern philosophy, queer theory, anthropology.
