Marzena Lizurej received her PhD from the Institute of Polish Philology at the University of Wrocław. She cooperates with the feminist and the LGBT movements. She co-established Gender Studies Students' Association "Nic Tak Samo" (www.nic-tak-samo.uni.wroc.pl/tv.html). She also co-edited with Monika Baer "Z odmiennej perspektywy. Studia queer w Polsce" ("A different perspective: Queer studies in Poland") (Wrocław 2007). She is interested in art as a lifestyle.
