Iwona Dadej

Historian, graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow; Ph.D. student at the Free University (FU) and Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung (WZB) in Berlin, founder of the Feminist Historical Salon. In her Ph.D. dissertation she analyzes the women's movement in Poland and in Germany at the turn of the 19th and 20th century, and more specifically, the transnational struggle for women’s equality in academia, their educational paths, feminist activity, academic aspirations, as well as the space for transnational dialogue between feminist academics. She has published articles in Feminoteka, Histmag, Ariadne, Forum für Frauen und Geschlechtergeschichte and Guidebook to Bluestockings' Cracow.
