Dominika Ferens

Dominika Ferens teaches American literature at the University of Wroclaw, Poland. She holds a PhD degree in English from the University of California, Los Angeles (1999) and a habilitation degree from the University of Wrocław (2011). She is the author of two books on American minority literatures: Ways of Knowing Small Places: Intersections of American Literature and Ethnography since the 1960s (2010) and Edith and Winnifred Eaton: Chinatown Missions and Japanese Romances (2002). Together with Tomasz Sikora and Tomasz Basiuk, she has co-organized several queer studies conferences in Poland and co-edited three essay collections: Odmiany odmieńca/A Queer Mixture (2002), Parametry pożądania (2006) and Out Here: Local and International Perspectives in Queer Studies (2006).
