Ania Gruszczynska - graduate of MA program in gender studies at Central European University, currently Ph.D. candidate at Aston University, Birmingham. Her dissertation focuses on meanings of lesbian and gay public activism in Poland. Both an activist and academic, she has published a number of articles on lesbian literature, culture and identity and continues to be involved with Culture for Tolerance Foundation in Krakow.
